3×3 basketball Olympic games schedule: When Americans hit the court in Paris – USA TODAY

The 2024 Paris Olympic Games will feature the return of 3×3 basketball after its debut in the last Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Team USA took gold in the Women’s 3×3 event and that squad returns with a new roster of players. The Men’s 3×3 basketball team qualified for the Olympic Games for the first time this year and will make its debut in Paris.
There are eight teams each in the Men’s and Women’s 3×3 basketball event. During pool games, Team USA will play the other seven teams in the event once. Games are won by either being the first team to score 21 points or having the highest score through 10 minutes. The top six teams by record will make the knockout stage, which consists of four parts:
