The college basketball transfer portal spring window nears an end with a little more than a week remaining. The rate of entries slowed down significantly in the past week, but the action remains high with a wave of new transfer commitments as on-campus visits resumed. The spring portal window began on March 18 and over 1,700 players entered since.
A vast majority of those transfers remain uncommitted, but half of the top 100 prospects in this cycle are now off the board. Alabama, Baylor, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, UCLA and USC are among those teams that secured some of the top highest rated transfer commitments in the past week with most making a move from another high major program.
The list of best available players remaining in the portal is loaded with immediate impact prospects that are hot commodities for those teams in search of specific needs. The spring portal window remains open until May 1.
