College basketball transfer portal: Recruiting intel on top wings Andrej Stojakovic, Trey Townsend and others – 247Sports
It’s “go-time” for schools looking to lock down impact players from the transfer portal and for players looking for the right fit in their next destination. The college basketball transfer portal closes on May 1 which is less than two weeks away. Just like last week, this weekend is full of consequential visits. And of course, with visits come commitments.
On Friday morning, we released our top 10 available transfer wings. Let’s now look at where some of those players could be heading. Below are some recruiting intel nuggets on top wins Otega Oweh, Cade Tyson, Rylan Griffen, Roddy Gayle Jr., Andrej Stojakovic, Trey Townsend and Saint Thomas.
First, let’s start with Otega Oweh. Otega, a 6-foot-5, 215-pound wing from Oklahoma, is expected to visit Oregon this weekend. He has previously set a visit to Texas A&M. Kentucky and new head coach Mark Pope is also trying to get involved.
