If you’re a hoops fanatic looking to elevate your game, Sotheby’s NBA Finals jerseys auction is the place for you.
From July 2-9, Sotheby’s — the official game-worn source of the NBA — is hosting one of the biggest auctions of the year, with jerseys from a historical 2024 NBA Finals series.
On June 17, the Boston Celtics broke a 16-year barrier, attaining a franchise- and league-best 18th championship in five games over Dallas. Now it’s time to take home a piece of NBA history, with five game-worn jerseys from the series at your fingertips.
Jayson Tatum 2024 NBA Finals, Game 2
Jersey edition: Statement Edition
Location: TD Garden in Boston (June 9)
Jayson Tatum (18 points, 12 assists, 9 rebounds) notched a near triple-double in Game 2 to push Boston to a 105-98 victory and a 2-0 series lead over Dallas.
Jaylen Brown 2024 NBA Finals, Game 2
Jersey edition: Statement Edition
Location: TD Garden in Boston (June 9)
The Finals MVP continued his streak of impressive performances in Game 2, tallying 21 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists. Perhaps more impactful were his two massive plays to seal Boston’s win — an emphatic block on P.J. Washington alongside teammate Derrick White, and the final layup of the game to secure Boston’s lead.
Luka Doncic 2024 NBA Finals, Game 1
Jersey edition: City Edition
Location: TD Garden in Boston (June 6)
The league’s leading scorer showed no signs of stopping on the road in Game 1, putting up 30 points and 10 rebounds in the Mavs’ loss.
Luka Doncic 2024 NBA Finals, Game 2
Jersey edition: Association Edition
Location: TD Garden in Boston (June 9)
News to know: Wearing this jersey, Doncic became the youngest player ever to record a triple-double in NBA Finals history (matched to 3 games).
With his 32-point, 11-rebound and 11-assist triple-double in Game 2, Doncic became one of only 24 players to finish with a triple-double in the NBA Finals. He also joined LeBron James, Jerry West, and Charles Barkley as the only players to record a triple-double in an NBA Finals loss.
Doncic’s jersey was also worn in the following 2024 NBA Playoff games:
Game 5 vs. OKC in Western Conference finals (May 30)
Game 2 vs. OKC in Western Conference finals (May 9)
Kyrie Irving 2024 NBA Finals, Game 1
Jersey edition: City Edition
Location: TD Garden in Boston (June 6)
In Kyrie Irving’s first Finals game since his trio of championship appearances with the Cavaliers (2015-17), Irving recorded 12 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
