Girls Basketball Playoffs – Richardson ISD

Lake Highlands and Richardson are bi-district champs. The Wildcats will host Hebron High School in the area round on Thursday, Feb. 15, at 6:30 p.m.
The Eagles will face Little Elm High School in the area round on Friday, Feb. 16, at Coppell High School at 7 p.m. Click here for ticket information.

The Lake Highlands, Richardson and Pearce girls basketball teams all qualified for a spot in the UIL state playoffs.
The Wildcats finished second in District 7-6A, and the Eagles finished third.
Pearce captured the fourth playoff spot and will play South Grand Prairie in the bi-district round on Monday, Feb. 12, at Irving MacArthur High School at 6 p.m.
Lake Highlands will play Arlington Bowie on Monday, Feb. 12, at South Oak Cliff High School at 6:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, Feb. 13, Richardson will face Arlington Martin at Coppell High School at 7 p.m. to start the playoffs.
Congratulations to all the players, coaches, families and fans. Go Eagles, Mustangs, and Wildcats!
At the June 6 board work session, RISD shared two end of year performance metrics with trustees, including end of year MAP results and data from RISD’s annual climate survey of teachers, which informed a discussion about the district’s cellphone-free policy for students. In addition, trustees were sworn in and reorganized for 2024-25.
Finalizing a budget planning process that began 11 months ago, RISD Trustees approved the district’s 2024-25 budget at the June 6 regular meeting.
Spring 2024 State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) results are expected to be available to parents on June 7 and June 14.
