Jamal Murray #27 of the Denver Nuggets drives to the basket against Caleb Martin #16 of the Miami Heat during the first half in Game One of the 2023 NBA Finals.
After two games, the NBA Finals are tied at 1-1. Six weeks of playoff basketball led to the Denver Nuggets facing off against the Miami Heat for the trophy. The Nuggets have been the No. 1 seed in the West all season, and the Heat nearly missed the playoffs altogether as the No. 8 seed in the East.
This classic David vs Goliath matchup will be broadcast on ABC (streaming with Hulu) and ESPN+ throughout, and a new NBA champion will be crowned as soon as one team wins four games. Here's how to watch.
The NBA Finals run 6/1 – 6/18, with the series ending once one of the teams wins four games. The schedule is as follows:
*if necessary
Every game of the NBA Finals will be broadcast on ABC and ESPN+. If you have any basic cable TV package, you can flip the channel to ABC and you’re all set. Even if you don’t have cable, you can pick up an affordable antenna like this one and still catch the Finals in HD.
If you’re like a lot of people these days (myself included) who ditched cable a while ago, all the major streaming services with live TV will have the Finals, since ABC is included in every one of them. The best streaming platforms to catch the Finals are:
ESPN+($9.99/month; bundle with Hulu or Disney+ to save big)
Hulu + Live TV: ($69.99/month; also gives you access to Disney+ and ESPN+)
YouTube TV: ($72.99/month after three months at $64.99/month)
FuboTV: ($74.99/month with a one-week free trial)
Sling TV (Orange & Blue): ($55/month with half off the first month)
DIRECTV STREAM: ($74.99/month after three months at $64.99/month; 5-day free trial)
