Official release

The NBA announced Monday the first-ever All-Tournament Team for the 2023 In-Season Tournament. Unlike the regular-season All-NBA teams, players were chosen for the All-Tournament Team without regard to position (center, forward and guard).
The All-Tournament Team was selected by a media panel and based on player performance in both Group Play and the Knockout Rounds.
The Lakers defeated the Pacers, 123-109, on Dec. 9 to win the inaugural NBA Cup. James was the Tournament MVP, after averaging 26.4 points, 8.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists while shooting 56.8% from the field and 60.6% on 3-pointers.
