Iowa’s next game: Cleveland State, 6 p.m. Saturday, at Des Moines
What to know: Iowa has won 27 consecutive games against the Badgers; UW’s last win in the series came on Feb. 11, 2007, 84-73 at Madison.
The Hawkeyes won last year’s meetings, 102-71 and 91-61.
Kohl Center (capacity 17,230) is sold out. The Badgers had drawn an average of 3,111 fans for their first five home games.
Wisconsin’s six Big Ten wins last season were its most since 2010-11.
In Iowa’s 67-58 win at Iowa State on Wednesday, Caitlin Clark became the 15th player in NCAA Division-I women’s basketball history to reach the 3,000-point mark for a career. Her current total is 3,013.
Kate Martin is averaging 14.8 points in her last six games.
Serah Williams (6-4, soph.) leads Wisconsin at 15.6 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.
Iowa’s next Big Ten game is Dec. 30 at home against Minnesota. From that point on, it’s all conference play.
