The Big Ten Network today announced its 2023-24 Big Ten men’s basketball schedule, including television coverage of more than 130 games. The season begins on Oct. 29, with a pair of charity exhibitions featuring highly-touted programs as Tennessee visits Michigan State and Kansas takes on Illinois to benefit the Hawai’i Community Foundation Maui Strong Fund. The Big Ten Network men’s basketball schedule also includes nearly 80 conference matchups and eight Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament games.
Non-conference play tips off with a doubleheader on Monday, Nov. 6, as Purdue hosts Samford at 6:30 p.m. ET and Michigan State hosts James Madison at 8:30 p.m. ET. Additional non-conference matchups include Missouri at Minnesota on Nov. 16, Harvard vs. Indiana at Gainbridge Field House on Nov. 26 and Mississippi State vs. Rutgers on Dec. 23 from the Prudential Center.
Conference play starts off in primetime on Friday, Dec. 1, when Maryland takes on Indiana at 7 p.m. ET, followed by Purdue visiting Northwestern at 9 p.m. ET. Three additional Big Ten conference games will air on BTN over the following three days, including Illinois at Rutgers Minnesota at Ohio State and Iowa at Purdue.
On Sunday, Jan. 7, Big Ten basketball returns to the Palestra in Philadelphia as Michigan takes on Penn State at noon ET.
The 2024 Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament Presented by TIAA takes place from the Target Center in Minneapolis, March 13-17. All eight games in Thursday’s second round and Friday’s, quarterfinals will appear on the Big Ten Network.
Outside of the two exhibitions being televised on Oct. 29, all remaining exhibition games and 38 additional non-conference games, including at least one for each school, will be available this year on B1G+. Subscriptions options are available in conference pass, school pass or sport pass formats starting at just $9.95 per month.
All men’s basketball programming on the Big Ten Network can be streamed via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices on the Fox Sports app. Confirmation on all tip-off times, on-air talent, the complete B1G+ schedule and Big Ten Network studio programming will be available in the coming weeks.
