​​​​​The first days of December brought some changes to the college basketball landscape as a handful of top-ranked teams fell. Andy Katz delivers his newly updated Power 36 rankings and delivers a preview of this week’s action.
Power 36
Dropped out: Villanova (11), Texas A&M (13), Mississippi State (21), Alabama (27), Nebraska (33), Florida (34), Bradley (36). 
Under consideration: Providence, Butler, New Mexico, Indiana State

Player of the Week 
Boo Buie, Northwestern: Buie scored 31 points, including multiple late-shot clock, buckets to lead the Wildcats to an upset of No. 1 Purdue in Evanston. The preseason first-team all-Big Ten guard was sensational in every aspect, also dishing out nine assists, with four rebounds and two steals. Buie scored 23 points and had seven assists in a win over Northern Illinois.

Runner-up: Isaiah Stevens, Colorado State: Stevens led the Rams to wins over Colorado (20 points/11 assists) and Washington in Las Vegas (12/5).

Team of the Week   
Clemson: The Tigers had a sensational week on the road with wins over Alabama and an ACC opener at Pitt. The Tigers entered the week 7-0 in advance of hosting in-state rival South Carolina. Clemson is a legit ACC title contender 
Runner-up: North Carolina. The Tar Heels blitzed Tennessee in the ACC-SEC Challenge and then opened the ACC with a home win over Florida State.
