With just one game left in the season, here’s where the Minnesota Timberwolves stand in the Western Conference playoff picture.
The Wolves are currently 9th in the Western Conference. Seeds 7-10 will play in the 2023 NBA Play-In Tournament.
The Wolves are lock for the 2023 NBA Play-In Tournament. They could potentially finish the season as high as 7th and as low as 9th in the Western Conference standings.
Minnesota’s next game is today at home against the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Mavs, Jazz, Spurs, Rockets and Blazers have all been eliminated from the postseason,
The Wolves have just one games left to play in the regular season.
If the Wolves end the regular season with the same record as another team, a tie-breaker will determine the higher seed.

According to the NBA, “The Play-In Tournament will begin Tuesday, April 11 and conclude Friday, April 14. The teams with the seventh-highest and eighth-highest winning percentages in each conference will each have two opportunities to win one game to earn a playoff spot.
“The teams with the ninth-highest and tenth-highest winning percentages in each conference will each have to win two consecutive games to earn a playoff spot.
“The winners of the Play-In tournament will receive the 7th and 8th-seeded positions in each conference. Following the Play-In Tournament, the NBA playoffs will commence with the traditional 16-team, best-of-seven series structure.”
