DePaul Unveils 2023-24 Men's and Women's Basketball Game Day … – DePaul Blue Demons
CHICAGO – DePaul Athletics is continuing its work to provide a premier experience for Blue Demon fans. That work has led to the following upgrades and operational changes for the 2023-24 season at Wintrust Arena.
Food & Beverage Options
DePaul Athletics is proud to welcome OVG Hospitality as the new, official concessionaire and premium food and beverage provider for Wintrust Arena. OVG Hospitality will offer a redesigned food and beverage experience throughout the arena for the upcoming season, in addition to introducing new technology to reduce concession lines. Minor changes will be made prior to DePaul’s home openers, with many larger, planned enhancements being made later this winter.
Enhancements include:
A mobile concessions ordering process conveniently located within the DePaul Blue Demons app.
A mobile pre-event and event-day mobile food and beverage ordering process for suite ticket holders.
Wintrust cardholders will receive 15% off concession purchases (excluding alcohol) throughout the season.
DePaul University students, with a valid DePaul ID, will receive 15% off concession purchases (excluding alcohol) throughout the season.
The introduction of DePaul-branded souvenir cups at concession stands throughout the arena.
The introduction of the Coors Light Chill Zone, a new grab-and-go alcohol location, featuring a more efficient purchase process for fan-favorite beverages, including Coors Light, Miller Lite, Vizzy Hard Seltzer, and others.
The opening of Big Chicken, the brainchild of Hall of Fame basketball star Shaquille O’Neal, inside the arena (late 2023). Founded in 2018, Big Chicken fuses O’Neal’s home-cooked childhood favorites with today’s flavors.
DePaul Team Shop
The DePaul Team Shop will have an expanded footprint this season, located behind Section 126. Wintrust cardholders will receive 10% off their purchases at this location throughout the season. In addition to this location, fans with access to the Blue Demon Club will have the option to purchase club-exclusive apparel at select games.
ALL-IN-1 Pass
Season ticket holders will experience added convenience with DePaul’s ALL-IN-1 pass. This new technology reduces the hassle of sifting through a cluttered digital wallet and instead adds a single digital ticket per seat that automatically rotates to the next event throughout the season. SeatGeek Integration
SeatGeek is now an official secondary ticket marketplace of DePaul Athletics. This partnership, and new integration, will allow ticket holders to use SeatGeek’s digital tools to price, list, and sell unused tickets directly through their DePaul Athletics ticket account.
Vet Tix Partnership
DePaul Athletics has partnered with the Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix), a national 501c3 nonprofit founded by veterans dedicated to supporting and honoring the US military community, veterans, and their families. The Vet Tix mission is to provide tickets to live events aimed at improving mental welfare and enriching the lives of military service members and veterans.
Beginning this season, DePaul Athletics will donate tickets for several men’s and women’s basketball games directly to the organization and allow the military community to enjoy Blue Demon Basketball at Wintrust Arena. To learn more and claim tickets, visit VetTix.org.
Promotions & Giveaways
Blue Demon fans will experience new promotions, in addition to returning, fan-favorite offerings including: the Salute to Service game, Women’s Basketball 50 Season Celebration game, Billy Blue Demon Throwback Night, Chicago Sports Night, and Taylor Swift Night. Giveaways this season include crossbody bags, t-shirts, koozies, bucket hats, sweatshirts, and more! DePaul will also recognize the 2023 Hall of Fame Class at games this season.
Dedicated DIBS Meeting Location
In addition to pop-up appearances in sections through the arena, DIBS will also offer a dedicated meeting location and time for all fans this season. Located behind Section 103, at the concourse Photo Spot, DIBS will meet and greet with Blue Demon fans throughout halftime of each men’s and women’s basketball game.
Bag Lockers & Clear Bag Policy
Wintrust Arena’s clear bag policy remains in place for all DePaul Athletics events but will be slightly modified beginning with the upcoming season. Each fan will continue to be permitted to carry one large clear bag—either a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag or a clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag that does not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″. New this year, clear fanny packs or sling bags that do not exceed this size will also be allowed. For more information, visit DePaulBlueDemons.com/ClearBag.
Fans who are unable to leave their bags at home may utilize secure, complimentary lockers outside the arena to store their belongings throughout the game.
50/50 Raffle
Blue Demon fans across Illinois can purchase tickets for the DePaul Blue Demons 50/50 Raffle online at DePaulBlueDemons.com/raffle or through the DePaul Blue Demons app. By popular demand, the 50/50 raffle will be available for purchase within Illinois for all DePaul men’s and women’s basketball home and away games this season.
In accordance with state and local law, raffle tickets must be purchased in the State of Illinois by individuals who are 18 years or older. The winning ticket will receive half of the net proceeds from the game’s raffle ticket sales and the other half will benefit DePaul Athletics’ Championship Experience Fund.

DePaul Blue Demons App
The official DePaul Blue Demons app features live and on-demand video content, in-game statistics, score updates, a digital portal to manage mobile tickets, gameday resources, a rewards program, comprehensive news, and more. Throughout the men’s and women’s basketball seasons, DePaul Athletics will utilize the app for a variety of in-game entertainment features, including the redemption of special offers and promotions. The DePaul Blue Demons app is available for download from the App Store and Google Play by visiting DePaulBlueDemons.com/app.
Doors Open Time
Doors to Wintrust Arena will continue to open 1.5 hours prior to tipoff for each DePaul men’s and women’s basketball game. Fans are reminded they may enter through the skybridge connected to the Lot A parking garage or through the arena’s main entrance, located at the corner of Cermak and Indiana.
Pyrotechnics
Fans should be aware that during DePaul’s team introductions, the venue’s lights will be lowered and flame towers, strobe lighting, C02 cannons, and other special effects will be in use at all DePaul basketball games this season.
Cashless Concessions (Apple & Samsung Pay)
All concession stands and bars inside Wintrust Arena will be cashless once again this season. Apple and Samsung Pay functionality is available at all concession stands and bars.

The official online home for DePaul men’s and women’s basketball gameday information is DePaulBlueDemons.com/Gameday. This online guide has been recently updated and serves as a central hub for everything you need to know about prior to attending games at Wintrust Arena.
Fan Feedback Program
Fan feedback is crucial to DePaul Athletics’ efforts to provide the best and safest possible fan experience in the nation. After select games, ticket holders will receive a link to a fan feedback survey. Survey results will be evaluated weekly by DePaul Athletics’ operations staff, allowing for improvements to be made between games. Further, fans interested in providing information to DePaul Athletics in real time may email FanExperience@depaul.edu.
Blue Demon Club
For all men’s basketball games, the Blue Demon Club will continue to offer ticket holders grab-and-go soft drink, water, and sparkling water options, in addition to newly inspired menus. Blue Demon Club access will continue to be offered to season and single-game ticket holders in Sections 108-110 and B. Coleman Aviation courtside season and single-game ticket holders. Mikan Society Lounge
This exclusive space, located beneath Section 103, will once again welcome Mikan Society Members—DePaul Athletics’ major gift society. Named in honor of DePaul Basketball great, George Mikan, the Mikan Society recognizes supporters who commit to contributions of $50,000 or more. B. Coleman Aviation Courtside Seating
Season and single-game ticket holders in the B. Coleman Aviation Courtside seating will continue to have access to the Blue Demon Club for men’s basketball games from the time doors open until the conclusion of the game. The Blue Demon Club features complimentary food and non-alcoholic drinks, a cash bar, and private restrooms. For more information about B. Mobile Pass
The DePaul Blue Demons Mobile Pass has returned. This unique ticket package allows fans to experience Wintrust Arena from different seat locations throughout the season, at a low, affordable rate. Group Rates & Rentals – Suites & Demon Deck
Group ticket prices will be available to groups of 10 or more attending DePaul men’s or women’s basketball games. For more information on pricing, fans can request a call here or contact the DePaul Athletics Ticket Office at (773) 325-7526 or tickets@depaul.edu.
Additionally, two group rental options will exist this season. Great for birthday parties, corporate outings, entertaining clients, or other private events, each option features great amenities, comfortable furnishings, and personal food and beverage service.
Suite Rentals – Blue Demon fans will be able to enjoy a private and relaxed environment on gameday from the Wintrust Arena suites. Suites accommodate 10 to 16 people per game and start at $700 for men’s basketball games and $250 for women’s basketball games.
Demon Deck Rentals – Groups purchasing 25 or more tickets can secure the Demon Deck, a semi-private overlook above Section 117. Food and beverage packages, with a dedicated bartender, are available.
DePaul Faculty & Staff Season Ticket Discounts
Full-time DePaul University employees receive a 20% discount off the full-season ticket rate in all general lower-level and 200-level locations at Wintrust Arena. A maximum of four (4) seats can be purchased at the discount. View complete details on DePaul employee discounts here.
Student Tickets & Entry
DePaul students will continue to be offered complimentary tickets and roundtrip motorcoach transportation from Lincoln Park to Wintrust Arena for all DePaul basketball games. All student tickets must enter through the dedicated set of student entry doors at the main entrance of Wintrust Arena. Student tickets will not successfully scan at other doors or entry points.
Infant Tickets
For DePaul Athletics events at Wintrust Arena, infants or toddlers under 36 inches in height who will not be needing a seat and will sit on a parent/guardian’s lap, do not need a ticket to enter. If a seat must be occupied by the infant and/or carrier, a regular ticket must be purchased. Ticket policies for DePaul postseason events may differ due to guidelines set by the NCAA, BIG EAST Conference, or other sponsoring organizations.
