Breanna Stewart and the New York Liberty challenge defending WNBA champions, the Las Vegas Aces, for the 2023 WNBA championship starting with Game 1 at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Paradise, Nevada on Sunday, October 8 (10/8/2023) at 3 p.m. ET.
Liberty vs. Aces Game 1 will air on ABC, and can be streamed live on fuboTV (free trial) and other live TV services.

The Liberty beat the Connecticut Sun in four games to win the semifinal series, finishing things off with an 87-84 win where they held onto a narrow lead in the final quarter to stay alive. Stewart, a Cicero-North Syracuse High School alumna and 2023′s WNBA MVP, led the scoring in the final game of the series with 27 points, followed 25 from Jonquel Jones.
Now they’ll square off with the Aces, who swept the Dallas Wings 3-0 to reach their second consecutive WNBA Finals, and third in four years. The Aces, led by stars like A’ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum and Jackie Young, won a league-record 34 games this season, and are looking to create a true WNBA dynasty.
