For those paying attention online, the respective recruitments for the 2024 NCAA Basketball recruiting class are heating up. A number of top-100 prospects are cutting their lists down to a certain group of teams, creating an outline of which programs are seriously targeting which players.
Even though the 2024 class isn’t viewed as talented at the top compared to previous years, there’s still plenty of talent. And while there have been a number of top-30 prospects that have currently committed to teams, there are plenty still available.
Entering the month of July, expect there to be some more developments for the top recruits out there. And based on what we know already, expect there to be some heated recruiting battles involving the top NCAA Basketball programs. Here’s a list of 10 to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.

The top-10 wing announced a list of eight teams in May but to this point, only Louisville and Kentucky got official visits. This could be a repeat of the DJ Wagner sweepstakes with these teams and the Wildcats are hoping to win the head-to-head battle again.
The 6’7 wing and top-10 overall prospect has six teams involved, with Indiana viewed as a major contender. How that works after landing Mackenzie Mgbako will be interesting but look out for Alabama, Kansas, and Texas in this recruitment.
The fast-rising four-star big man is down to eight teams, with Kansas, Duke, Indiana, and UConn all involved. There’s a chance that Ngongba ends up being a five-star prospect when it’s all said and done, making his recruitment key for teams needing future frontcourt depth.
