LeBron James’ collaboration with Nike has produced some of the best shoes from the brand to date. The 2022 shoe LeBron XX is what many even consider the best shoe of that year and has been worn by top athletes, including Anthony Davis. WNBA athlete A’ja Wilson recently rocked the latest colorway worth $250, tagging LeBron James on her Instagram story. And sure enough, the King was more than happy and excited to see his shoe getting wider acceptance among the best of athletes.

While promoting the LeBron XXs last year, LeBron James found an ingenious way to market his shoes using ‘Father Time’ as a theme. Aquaman actor Jason Mamoa was featured in the ad as the ‘Father Time’. The advert gained immense popularity with James hilariously trolling  Father Time by handing him a pair of Nike Monarchs and calling him old.
LeBron James is more than elated to find his new shoe gaining wider acceptance among athletes. After Anthony Davis, WNBA player A’Ja Wilson is the next celebrity to don the latest pair of colorways from this shoe collection. The Las Vegas Aces forward seemed to love the shoe and gave LeBron James a shoutout for this collaboration on her Instagram story. To this, the King replied with a re-post, which explained his excitement. In the caption, James wrote,

The new colorway of the LeBron 20s, worn by Wilson, came up after Nike teamed with Ghanaian fashion designer, Mimi Plange. The shoe boasts a crisp white knit base layer alongside blazing orange floral embroidery that shines across the forefoot, heel counter, and medial mid-foot. The shoe is further adorned by profile Nike swooshes and inner collars, with the tongue, laces, and insoles having bright shades of purple.
Currently, as LeBron James enters his 21st season this year, Nike is scheduling the release of the LeBron 21 series of shoes pretty soon. As per Sneaker News, the latest additions in Nike’s LeBron collection might most probably drop within the next month. Moreover, it was not the first time when LBJ was in awe of the WNBA star.
A’Ja Wilson has dropped some stellar performances wearing the Lebron XX. This is bound to make the LA Lakers star happy, given his shoes are gaining popular and on-demand acceptance among top athletes of the game. After a stunning 53-point performance against the Atlanta Dream, A’ja Wilson received a much-deserved appreciation from LBJ on X. And of course, the King did not forget to highlight A’ja’s shoes, which significantly helped in that Tuesday night win.

A’Ja Wilson has currently tied the WNBA record of a 50-point game, becoming the third player in the league’s history to do so. Previously, Liz Cambage and Riquana Williams scored 53 and 51 points in 2018 and 2013 respectively.
