It’s been a long five months for those that have been following the transfer portal this offseason in NCAA Basketball. Between the new rules and the ability for players to move around, the number of players that have switched teams has reached an all-time high, with over 1,500 D-I Men’s players moving around alone.
At this point in the offseason, just about all of the top players in the transfer portal have picked new teams, including those that have switched multiple times in the past few months. We now can take an expansive look at which teams did the best when it comes to landing transfers.

Plus, there are a few former mid-major Conference Player of the Year players that are moving up and it’s always a struggle to know which of them will play well.
Here are a couple of honorable mentions to start out.
*This piece will include those looking for a waiver since it’s too difficult to determine who’ll be eligible for the 2023-24 campaign.
