A full schedule is on tap surrounding this weekend’s induction ceremony at the National Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass.
The Class of 2023 — possibly the greatest group of inductees in the Hall’s history — has a distinct international flair, with NBA legends Dirk Nowitzki of Germany, Pau Gasol of Spain and Tony Parker of France headlining the group that will be enshrined on Saturday.
The six people and one team entering the Hall this year combined for two Olympic gold medals, one silver and two bronzes, as well as 15 NBA championships, one regular-season MVP, three Finals MVPs, three coach of the year awards and six WNBA All-Star appearances.
The 2023 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony will take place at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, August 12 in Springfield, Mass.
It will be televised exclusively on NBA TV, and will be preceded by a Red Carpet Show beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
The Hall will also have its Tip-Off Celebration and Awards Show on Friday, August 11 at 8 p.m. ET.
