The New Orleans Pelicans today announced their 2023 preseason schedule.
New Orleans will open preseason play with a home game at the Smoothie King Center on Tuesday, October 10, against the Orlando Magic. The Pelicans then head to Birmingham, Ala. to host the Houston Rockets on Thursday, Oct. 12 at Legacy Arena, home of the Birmingham Squadron, the Pelicans’ G League affiliate. The team will travel to play the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday, Oct. 14 at Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Ga., and will conclude the 2023 preseason slate at Orlando on Tuesday, Oct. 17.
The Pelicans’ home contest in Birmingham, Ala. marks the second consecutive season the team will play a preseason game at Legacy Arena, as New Orleans hosted Atlanta last year in front of a sellout crowd of 15,486. Squadron season ticket holders will receive complimentary tickets in their seat location for the preseason game between the Pelicans and Rockets. Individual tickets for the Pelicans preseason game at Legacy Arena will go on sale at a later date. Tickets will be made available through the Squadron ticket office and Ticketmaster. Pelicans season ticket plans for the 2023-24 campaign and group ticket plans for the Tuesday, Oct. 10 game against the Orlando Magic are on sale now.  Individual tickets for Pelicans home games will go on sale at a later date.
