CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI women’s basketball team has announced its home opponents for the upcoming 2023-24 non-conference schedule.
Season ticket renewals for the upcoming Panther women’s basketball season begin on June 1, 2023 and will run through July 31, 2023.
Season tickets are $69 for general admission and reserved seating, and will also include $99 courtside season ticket options. See the attached seating chart to the right.
Panther fans can renew online here, or by calling 319-273-4849. Fans can also stop in to the UNI ticket office located in the Hall of Fame Connector and renew their tickets in person. Ticket office hours of operation run Monday through Friday, 10 a.m to 4 p.m. For new, or additional season tickets, please contact Erik Tupper at 319-273-5411.
UNI will open its 2023-24 campaign, its 56th in program history, on October 30 with a home exhibition against Division III Central College. The Panthers’ first regular season game is slated for November 6 against the defending Horizon League regular season champion Green Bay Phoenix. Green Bay, which won 28 games last season, is coming off its deepest postseason run since the early 2010s following a second round appearance in the WNIT.
November 12 will see a marquee matchup come to Cedar Falls as UNI plays host to the reigning NCAA runner-up and Big Ten tournament champion Iowa Hawkeyes. Coming off its first Final Four berth in three decades and its first national championship game appearance, Iowa returns much of its talent from a year ago including defending Naismith Trophy winner and AP National Player of the Year Caitlin Clark. UNI will also see the return of former Panther, UNI Athletics Hall of Famer and current Hawkeye head coach Lisa Bluder (1979-83) to the McLeod Center.
The Panthers will close their home non-conference schedule on December 9 hosting South Dakota State. Having clinched the Summit League title with a perfect 18-0 league record, as well as the conference tournament championship, the Jackrabbits secured a first round victory over USC in last season’s NCAA Tournament before falling to No. 1 seeded Virginia Tech.
Additional non-conference games, as well as the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) schedule will be announced at a later date.
