How to watch the 2023 WNBA Draft
The draft will air from 7-9 p.m. ET on ESPN and in the ESPN+ app.
Who has the top pick?
The Indiana Fever have the top overall pick in the 2023 draft. The Fever were chosen for the top spot after going 5-31 in the 2022 season.
What is the draft order?
The draft goes for a total of three rounds. Due to trades, some teams, like the Phoenix Mercury, will not have a draft pick.
Who are the top prospects?
South Carolina’s Aliyah Boston is expected to be the top pick. Maryland’s Diamond Miller, Stanford’s Haley Jones and Villanova’s Maddy Siegrist will likely go in the top five.
What about Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese?
Iowa’s Caitlin Clark is a junior, and Angel Reese just finished her third year of college play. The earliest either would enter the WNBA Draft is in 2024, and they’ve both indicated they may want to stay in college as long as possible.
