NC State basketball’s first round NCAA Tournament game against Creighton is set for an early afternoon tip on Friday in Denver.
The Wolfpack (20-13) and Bluejays (21-12) will get their March Madness journey underway at 4 p.m. on TNT, the NCAA announced Sunday evening.

NC State is the No. 11 seed in the South Region and Creighton is No. 6. The winner will face No. 3 Baylor (22-10) or No. 14 UC Santa Barbara (27-7) in Sunday’s second round.
Lisa Byington, Steve Smith, Avery Johnson and Andy Katz will be on the call on Friday and Sunday in Denver.
