NEW YORK — Mikal Bridges hit six 3-pointers and scored 23 points to help, Harry Giles III had 16 points and 10 rebounds and the Brooklyn Nets beat Maccabi Ra’anana if Israel 135-103 on Thursday night in preseason play.
Dwayne Bacon and Quindarry Weathers each scored 17 points for Ra’anana, with team members deciding to play the game despite war at home. Bacon played at Florida State and Weathers at Mississippi State.
Spencer Dinwiddie added 15 points for the Nets.
In Montreal, James Weisman made all eight of his shot attempts and had 20 points and 10 rebounds to help Detroit beat Oklahoma City.
Cason Wallace missed a 3-pointer with 3.1 seconds left in an attempt to tie it.
Hometown favorite Luguentz Dort led Oklahoma City with 24 points.
In Birmingham, Alabama, Jabari Smith Jr. scored 22 points and Jalen Green and Amen Thompson each had 12 in Houston’s victory over New Orleans.
CJ McCollum scored 17 points for New Orleans. Zion Williamson had four points, shooting 2 of 3 in 22 minutes.
Franz Wagner scored 18 points and Orlando held off Cleveland, which scored the final 12 points.
Moritz Wagner scored 14 points off the bench for the visiting Magic and Markelle Fultz had 13. The trio shot a combined 15 of 20.
Darius Garland scored 19 points for Cleveland.
Trae Young scored 20 points and Jalen Johnson had 14 on 6-of-7 shooting to help Atlanta beat visiting Memphis.
GG Jackson scored 24 points for Memphis, which missed its last three shots to end it.
Kyle Kuzma scored 19 points and Bilal Coulibaly had 12 for Washington against visiting Charlotte.
The Wizards used a 35-17 fourth quarter to rally.
Terry Rozier scored 13 points for Charlotte.
