Could Barron Trump play college basketball at St. John’s? Oddsmaker tabs NYC school the favorite – SILive.com
Could Barron Trump really wind up playing for Rick Pitino at Madison Square Garden?
In unexpected college basketball news on Thursday, the online sportsbook Bovada released a bizarre set of gambling odds on former president Donald Trump’s 6-foot-7 son. It’s unclear if the younger Trump is even an athlete, but Bovada, nevertheless, tabbed St. John’s and Miami (+300) the odds-on co-favorites to land the potential college hoopster’s services.
Of course, the former president has lengthy ties to both states, New York and Florida, though Barron’s potential destination remains entirely unknown. It is believed that he will graduate from high school in the spring and attend college in the fall of 2024.
Meanwhile, defending national champion UConn and Florida State (+500) check in just behind the favorites, while Michigan State (+700) and Kentucky (+850) lurk nearby.
However, the loopy odds don’t end there. If Barron were to reach the NBA, the New York Knicks are the favorite to land him (+200), followed by the Miami Heat (+275). The Los Angeles Lakers are next at +500.
It is expected that all bets would be voided if Barron does not play at all in college or the NBA. Yet, if he does, you can make out with a small fortune.
Those daring enough to bet on whether or not Barron will be a first-round NBA pick can check in with odds at +5000.
As for the former president, Donald Trump continues to hit the campaign trail in hopes of securing his own hopeful slam dunk on Election Day.
