Alabama basketball will take on Indiana State in the second game of the 2023-24 college basketball season, in which the Crimson Tide look to win back-to-back SEC Championship title for the first time since winning three straight from 1989-91.
After being ranked 24th in the preseason polls, the Crimson Tide put on an impressive showcase against Morehead State to open the season, looking dominant in a 105-73 victory. The story of the game was North Dakota transfer Grant Nelson, who threw down an array of tomahawk jams and knocked down two 3-pointers on his way to 24 points and seven rebounds.

Indiana State will be a tougher matchup for the Crimson Tide after the Sycamores’ offensive explosion in a 90-60 win over Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. Despite just a 5-10 stature, junior Isaiah Swope uses his shiftiness and quick handle to wreak havoc on defenses.
The matchup between the Crimson Tide and the Sycamores will mark the first time the two programs have met on the hardwood. Here’s what to know as the Crimson Tide prepare for their second game of the season:
Friday’s game between Alabama and Indiana State will stream exclusively on SEC Network+ and ESPN+. Cable subscribers with a package that includes the SEC Network can use their login credentials to watch via SEC Network+. Another option is ESPN+, which allows you to stream select college basketball games.
Alabama vs. Indiana State is scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m. CT.
