Jason Sudeikis brings 'Ted Lasso' to Caitlin Clark, Iowa women's basketball game – KCCI Des Moines

The Iowa women’s basketball team had a pair of special guests for Saturday’s game.

WNBA legend Sue Bird and actor Jason Sudeikis stopped in Iowa City for Saturday’s Iowa vs. Bowling Green game, one night after they were in Lawrence, Kansas, to watch the Connecticut vs. Kansas men’s basketball game.
Both stars met with the Iowa team after the 99-65 win.
Here’s how Hawkeyes’ coach Lisa Bluder introduced them to the team:
“The best player and the best coach in America,” Bluder said, pointing to Bird and Sudeikis in reference to Sudeikis’ role as an American football coach turned British soccer coach in the TV series “Ted Lasso.”

“In London, in London,” Sudeikis joked back.
Sudeikis also pulled out the dance moves during a timeout at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Watch it here:

Sudeikis also autographed a “BELIEVE” sign Bluder hung up in the building, also a nod to Sudeikis’ character in “Ted Lasso.”
