The UConn women’s basketball team is competing in the Cayman Islands Classic this weekend, but the tournament will not be available to view on TV channels such as SNY, FS1 or ESPN.
Instead, the games will be available on the subscription streaming service FloHoops, which can also be accessed by downloading the FloSports app. The Big East Digital Network is also on FloHoops and the FloSports app, so there is an opportunity to view more conference games in the future.
Viewers can log in with an email address or via a Facebook account, then users will be prompted to select a subscription option.
Subscriptions cost $150 per year or $29.99 per months. Customers can cancel at anytime.
Those with an Apple TV, Roku, or Fire TV, you can watch from the FloSports app. If you have Chromecast, Samsung, LG, or Vizio Smart TV, then you can use the FloSports app on your phone to access the games.
FloSports launched in 2006 and offers live and on-demand sports across more than 25 vertical sports categories across the world. The Tesxas-based streaming service began by covering wrestling and track events, but now covers over 200,000 events per year, including NASCAR, USA Cycling, Basketball, MMA, Football, Gymnastics and more.
The Huskies are one of four ranked teams in the Caymans islands Classic, along with: No. 7 LSU, No. 3 UCLA and No. 9 Virginia Tech.
UConn will not face the defending national champions though, but will take on No. 3 UCLA at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The Huskies will then compete against Kansas Satyrdat at 7:30 p.m..
Geno Auriemma’s team is coming off a win at Minnesota in Paige Bueckers’ homecoming game. UConn is 3-1 and has won two in a row after losing to NC Sttate.
