CBS Sports on Wednesday unveiled its full slate of games for the 2023-24 college basketball season featuring its largest schedule ever with more than 300 games across platforms on CBS, CBS Sports Network and Paramount+. The schedule, which includes appearances from 24 of the 25 preseason AP Top 25 teams, will also feature games from every team that made last season’s Elite Eight.
The 2023-24 schedule will feature more women’s basketball games than ever before including the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Championship airing on broadcast television for the first time. Conference tournament action is also highlighted by 15 automatic bids to the 2024 NCAA men’s and women’s tournaments, concluding with the Big Ten Men’s Tournament Championship for the 26th consecutive year.
CBS Sports will also broadcast the 2024 NCAA Tournament in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Sports, providing exclusive live coverage of every game in its entirety across CBS, TBS, TNT and truTV. This year marks the 42nd year CBS will broadcast the Tournament and the 12th of the partnership.
In total, CBS Sports Network will televise more than 270 college basketball games during the 2023-24 season, highlighted by 10 conference championship games. The regular-season schedule features nine teams ranked in the AP Men’s Preseason Top 25 rankings and 33 total appearances by those teams. The women’s schedule is highlighted by two appearances from preseason No. 2 UConn, which has won 11 NCAA titles under Hall of Fame coach Geno Auriemma.
The beginning of CBS’ coverage for the 2023-24 season will be on Saturday, Dec. 9 as No. 9 Tennessee plays host to No. 25 Illinois. The game, along with every other college basketball game broadcast on the CBS Television Network, will be available to stream live on Paramount+.
