STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford men’s basketball has unveiled a challenging non-conference slate that features six matchups at Maples Pavilion.
The slate opens with four home games on campus with visits from CSUN (Nov. 6), Sacramento State (Nov. 10), Santa Clara (Nov. 14) and Eastern Washington (Nov. 17). The homestand prepares Stanford for its first road trip, with the Cardinal traveling to the Bahamas to compete in the Battle 4 Atlantis.
Stanford opens the tournament with Arkansas (Nov. 22) before facing either Michigan or Memphis in the second round on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 23). Stanford’s final contest in the Bahamas (Nov. 24) will come against one of North Carolina, Villanova, Texas Tech or Northern Iowa.
Stanford returns home for a California clash with San Diego (Dec. 3) before the school breaks for finals, while the team welcomes Idaho on Dec. 17. The Cardinal closes non-conference action on Dec. 21 at San Diego State, and it has one open non-conference date available.
The Cardinal will tip off in 2023-24 with one of the strongest returning cores in the Pac-12, led by all-conference forward Spencer Jones, Academic All-Americans Brandon Angel and Michael Jones, and breakout center Maxime Raynaud, and an exciting group of newcomers, including top-50 recruits Andrej Stojakovic and Kanaan Carlyle and graduate transfer Jared Bynum.
