AUSTIN, Texas — The No. 13/14 Texas Women’s Basketball team will host Midwestern State in an exhibition game on Thursday, Nov. 2. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. Central at Moody Center, and the contest will be televised nationally by Longhorn Network.
The Longhorns are coming off a 2023 Big 12 Championship and have been picked by the conference coaches to win the league in the 2023-24 season. Returning point guard Rori Harmon has been selected the Preseason Big 12 Player of the Year and Madison Booker the Preseason Big 12 Freshman of the Year.
Texas head coach Vic Schaefer, the 2023 Big 12 Coach of the Year returns for his fourth season at Texas and his 39th season in coaching.
