Ranking the top 25 college basketball teams in the 2024 transfer portal cycle – Gators Wire

The college basketball transfer portal is officially closed as of midnight Thursday morning. Those who entered the sport’s de facto free agency system before the deadline will be eligible to participate in the upcoming 2024-25 campaign, even if they have not yet found a new home.
The rosters for each respective program are far from finalized, but with the departures now certain and many of the top players in the portal already finding new homes, it is worth taking a look to see how the top teams fared this time around. Some have scored big while others have had to patch numerous holes in their hulls, but in the aggregate, the winners and losers are becoming more clear.
