College basketball transfer portal tracker: UNC on board, Kentucky adds to haul with recent commitments – 247Sports
Time is ticking on the final hours of the college basketball transfer portal spring window, which closes Wednesday. Entries will soon be halted, but that does not mean action in the transfer portal will stop. More than 600 players have already committed to new schools since entering the portal this spring with a large portion of the nearly 2,000 transfers still seeking their next destination.
The number of top-100 portal prospects still available is dwindling with less than 30 transfers on that list uncommitted as the beginning of May nears. Arkansas, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas are all among the programs that secured some of the top highest rated transfer commitments in the past week.
The list of best available players remaining in the college basketball transfer portal is still loaded with high-end talent for those teams in search of specific needs. The spring transfer portal closes on Wednesday.
