WNBA All-Stars to switch uniforms at half in new All-Star Game format – ESPN

The WNBA’s 2024 All-Star Game uniforms, revealed on Tuesday, reflect the fact that the league continues to evolve.
In the 20th edition of the star-studded game, the WNBA will implement a Team WNBA vs. Team USA format, featuring the entire Olympic team roster taking on 12 WNBA All-Stars on July 20 in Phoenix.
The change also put a different spin on uniforms.
According to Boardroom, Team USA will don their white USA uniforms, while Team WNBA will sport two sets of uniforms in separate halves.

Team WNBA’s first-half uniforms will feature a pink-and-orange ombré jersey with “WNBA All-Star” lettering across the chest and the league’s All-Star emblem underneath.
The second-half uniforms duplicate the first-half jerseys — but in black. The faded hues on the first-half jerseys will serve as the alternate color along the V-neck of the second-half jersey.
Lettering that reads “WNBA All-Star Edition 2024,” followed by 20 stars that represent the game’s 20th anniversary will be above the tag of the jersey.
Beneath the size tag lies a smaller one in orange that reads “1/144,” serving as a nod to the 144 players in the WNBA and the competitive nature of being in the league.
Team WNBA All-Stars will design the back of their jerseys, which will feature a star that signals how many All-Star Games they’ve appeared in.
The shorts will include the same ombré hues of the first-half uniforms, a wavy slanted design on the bottom and “AS24” on the front patch.
