Hundreds of players have entered the college basketball transfer portal since it opened March 18, and we’ve tracked down the latest news and intel on the top 10 available prospects, including former Duke star Mark Mitchell and top-rated prospect Oumar Ballo.
Three of the top 10 players to enter the transfer portal this offseason have already made decisions on their future. We recap these decisions in the first part of this list before moving on to the latest intel on uncommitted prospects.
Powers that be reduced the portal entry window from 60 days to just 45 days this offseason. The portal will close for new entrants on May 1. NIL collectives and others involved in the NIL marketplace have been allowed to directly communicate with transfers as long as it is in compliance with state law.
