District 10 basketball playoffs schedule includes title games, more – GoErie.com

After an exciting first weekend in the District 10 basketball playoffs, this week features a packed schedule of semifinals, championships, consolation games and PIAA subregionals.
There are 17 games in two days, with nine boys games Tuesday and eight girls games Wednesday.
District 10 basketball playoff weekend:From buzzer beaters to championship performances
Friday’s boys games will feature four D-10 championships, two consolation games and at least one subregional. Saturday’s girls games include four D-10 title matchups, three consolation games and possibly two subregionals, depending on Wednesday’s results.

The eight boys semifinal winners Tuesday will move on to D-10 championship games Friday at times and sites to be determined. There also will be Friday consolation games in Classes 2A and 3A, with winners moving on to the PIAA playoffs.
In Class 5A boys, Prep will play the winner between DuBois and Obama Academy in a PIAA subregional Friday. If Erie High wins Tuesday, the Royals will play a Class 6A subregional against a District 6 team Friday.
The six girls semifinal winners Wednesday will move on to Saturday finals at sites and times to be determined. There also will be three consolation games Saturday in 2A, 3A and 4A, with winners moving on to the PIAA playoffs.
The District 10 Class 1A championship game also is Saturday, with Jamestown (4-18) facing Commodore Perry (2-19).
If the Cathedral Prep girls win Wednesday, they will face Obama Academy in a 5A subregional Saturday. In Class 6A, McDowell would face a District 6 team if the Trojans win Wednesday at Allderdice.
The PIAA tournament opens with first-round games the following weekend, March 10-11.
