The NBA free agency period started with a bang, and many players took to Twitter to applaud their teammates and friends.

The 2023 NBA free agent period officially opened at 6 p.m. ET on Friday and reports on deals started coming in immediately. Some of the league’s top free agents were met with support on social media by their teammates or former teammates or gave their thoughts on the hard work they put in:
