Fort Myers, Fla. – The Princeton Women’s Basketball Team continues its Fort Myers trip vs. the No. 19 Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Dominating Performer
Kaitlyn Chen is second on the team in scoring at 17.2 points per game.
•The 2023 Ivy League Player of the Year has 888 points in her career in just 65 games, 112 shy of 1,000. Her 13.6 points per game are the eighth most in Princeton history.

Impressive Rebounder
Ellie Mitchell has 879 career rebounds are fourth in program history. She is 63 caroms shy of Ellen Devoe (1982-89) for third (942)
•She has the two highest rebounding totals (338 last season and 311 in 2021-22) ever by a Tiger.
•Mitchell has 42 games with at least 10 rebounds or more. She recorded six as a freshman, 16 as a sophomore, 17 as a junior and three this season.
•According to HerHoopsStats.com, Mitchell is only the sixth Div. I player since 2009-10 to put up 18 rebounds, seven assists and four steals in a game (vs. Oklahoma) and the first to do it against a Power Six team 18r, 7a and 4s — and the first to do it against a Power Six team.

A Kiss From A Rose
Madison St. Rose leads the team in scoring at 19.0 points per contest. She scored a career-high 26 points on 9-of-18 shooting including five treys in the comeback victory over Duquesne.
•The sophomore also posted a game-high 22 points at San Diego and put up 15 points at then No. 3 UCLA.
 
A Very Important Victory

•Princeton is 4-31 all-time against nationally ranked teams after defeating No. 20 Oklahoma on Thursday.
•The Tigers are 1-1 this season vs. nationally ranked opponents, having lost to No. 3 UCLA and the decision over No. 20 Oklahoma.
•The Tigers were defeated at No. 16 Texas, 74-50, dropped a 69-64 battle to No.  6 UConn and lost 63-56 at No. 8 Utah in the NCAA Tournament last season.
•Before the 2021-22 season, the Tigers had one program victory over a top-25 team. The Tigers proceeded to collect two during that campaign.
•Princeton took down No. 15 Kentucky in the first round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament. In December of 2021, the Tigers defeated No. 22 Florida Gulf Coast, 58-55.
•The Tigers’ decision over Florida Gulf Coast was the program’s first top-25 victory in 43 years.
•Princeton’s previous top-25 win was vs. No. 18 Rutgers on Jan. 5, 1978 (70-57). Princeton head coach Carla Berube was two years old.
•The Tigers did not face another top-25 opponent for 24 years until battling No. 7 Stanford on Nov. 29, 2002. Princeton went on to face 24 more top-25 squads and went 0-25.
•Some top teams that the Tigers have faced are No. 1 Tennessee (Dec. 20, 2005), No. 2 Rutgers (Nov. 18, 2008) and No. 4 Stanford (Dec. 18, 2011).
