AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas women’s basketball team had six players score in double-figures and tallied 30 assists on 50 field goals as they ran away with a 110-64 victory over UT Arlington on Tuesday at Moody Center. 

Taylor Jones led Texas (3-0) with 21 points on 10-of-12 from the field and Rori Harmon recorded 20 points, seven assists and six rebounds and four steals. Harmon is the only player in NCAA DI women’s basketball this season to have at least 20 points, seven assists, six rebounds and four steals in a game. Harmon did it in just 25 minutes of play. 

Shay Holle notched a career-high 17 points on 7-of-10 from the field and 3-of-4 from 3-point range. 

The Longhorns forced 20 or more turnovers for the third straight game as they recorded 11 steals and forced UT Arlington into 21 turnovers. Texas has forced 78 turnovers through three games this season. 

Up next Texas will host Louisiana Tech on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Center. 

Post game notes 
• Texas keeps its perfect record against UT Arlington, improving to 12-0 after not playing the Mavericks in over a decade as well as moving to 3-0 for the season. 
• Six Longhorns scored in double-digit points and 10 of 11 players got themselves onto the scoresheet.
• For the third straight game, Texas forced their opponents to 20 or more turnovers and capitalized by scoring 28 points off those errors. 
• The Longhorns dominated in the paint outscoring the Mavericks 80-36, outrebounding them 57-27 and finished second-chance points 31-7.
• Texas has never trailed in all 120 minutes of game action across the three games. 
• To begin the game, Senior Taylor Jones got off to a strong start scoring the first six points for the Longhorns and finished the quarter with 14 points, two rebounds, one block and one steal. Jones finished with a game-high 21 points.  
• Leading 39-23, the Longhorns went on 22-6 run to end half with a commanding 61-29 advantage. 
• Going into halftime, Texas nearly tripled UTA in rebounds 29-11, and boasted a 19-0 score in second chance points. 
• At the end of the third quarter, the Longhorns had five players in double figures. Taylor Jones led the way with 21 points and Rori Harmon had 20 points shooting nearly a combined 80 percent from the floor and neither played in the fourth. 
• Texas did not take their foot off the gas and started the fourth quarter with an 8-0 run and hit the century mark at 5:56 in the fourth quarter as freshman Tiona Herron scored her sixth point of the night. 
• Senior Shay Holle scored a career-high 17 points, made a career-high seven made field goals, grabbed a team-high seven rebounds, and drew a team-high two charges. 
• Junior Rori Harmon became the first player in D1 this season to have a game with 20+ points,  7+ assists, 6+ rebounds, and 4+ steals in 25 minutes of action.
• Freshman Jordana Codio registered her first collegiate career points and finished with four points, three rebounds, and block while shooting perfectly from the floor 
• Freshman Tiona Herron scored her first points of her collegiate career as she finished with six points, three rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot, and a buzzer-beater to end the second quarter. 
• Freshman Madison Booker stuffed the stat-sheet with a career-high 14 points, six rebounds, six assists, and one steal. 
Shaylee Gonzales added 10 points for Texas and five assists. 
Khadija Faye reached double figures with 10 points and added five rebounds. 
Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda tallied six points, four rebounds and four assists. 
• The Longhorns blocked six shots against UT Arlington.
