There are plenty of options for NBA fans to catch the start of a new season of pro basketball.

With the 2023-24 NBA season is in full swing, there are a lot of heated matchups all season long with top superstars — including LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, Nikola Jokić, Jimmy Butler, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Dončić, Victor Wembanyama and others.
The NBA season starts on Tuesday, Oct. 24, while the 82-game regular season ends on Sunday, Apr. 14, 2024. The NBA In-Season Tournament Championship game happens on Saturday, Dec. 9 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Nevada, while NBA All-Star Game takes place on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

While both of the 2023-24 NBA regular season games are broadcast across ABC, ESPN, ESPN3 (which simulcasts games from ABC), TNT and NBA TV, you can sign up for a free trial from a live TV streaming service if you want to watch without cable for free. There are a number of streaming cable alternatives that carry the network. However, at the moment, not many of them are offering free trials. Ahead, you’ll find where to watch both games online without a cable subscription.

2023-24 NBA Season ESPN, TNT NBA TV and NBA League Pass
You can catch NBA regular season games on ESPN, TNT and NBA TV, which is available on DirecTV Stream’s “Choice” package and up. Choice has more than 105 channels, while prices start as low as $84.99. In the meantime, the cable alternative has a free trial available, which only lasts for five days, but that’s more than enough to catch a few games.
In addition, you can add NBA League Pass to your subscribe for an addition $14.99 per month.

2023-24 NBA Season ABC, ESPN and TNT
A subscription to Hulu + Live TV can give you access to 2023-24 NBA regular season games on ESPN, TNT and ABC. The service can also give you access to more than 90 channels starting at $76.99 per month. Meanwhile, the package includes access to Hulu’s streaming library, Disney+ and ESPN+, unlimited cloud DVR and the ability to watch up to two screens to stream at the same time.

To watch NBA games on TNT, ESPN and ESPN3, Sling might be a good fit for potential subscribers. Sign up is really easy, while all of its plans feature the cable network in their respective lineups.
