San Antonio Spurs Announce 2023-24 Season Local Broadcast … – NBA.com
SAN ANTONIO (Oct. 10, 2023) – The San Antonio Spurs today announced their broadcast schedule for the 2023-24 season, presented by H-E-B, which features a total of 76 regular season games airing locally on Bally Sports (Bally/BSSW), KENS 5 (CBS 5) and GOAI (CW35). Bally will air a total of 61 regular season games, plus one preseason game. KENS 5, the official television station of the San Antonio Spurs, will cover the team’s action for 11 games and CW35 will broadcast four games. Nineteen Spurs games will be broadcast nationally across ESPN, TNT, ABC and NBA TV, beginning with the home opener on Oct. 25 against the Dallas Mavericks airing on ESPN.

Sean Elliott is back for his 23rd year as lead analyst alongside veteran play-by-play broadcaster Bill Land, who is in his 21st season calling Spurs basketball. Dan Weiss returns as host of the Spurs Live Pre and Postgame show. During select broadcasts this season, national sports personality Michelle Beadle will be back as a special contributor.
Bally Sports will commence their regular season broadcasts when the Spurs host the Houston Rockets on October 27th. Spurs programming airing on Bally Sports Southwest or BSSW Extra will also stream live on BallySports.com and the Bally Sports app when a fan authenticates through their pay-TV provider or subscribes to Bally Sports+. This season, KENS 5 will tip off their coverage of the Silver and Black when the team hosts the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday, Nov. 20. Other key games airing on KENS 5 include one of the annual I-35 Series games in Austin, as the Spurs host the defending NBA Champions Denver Nuggets at Moody Center on Friday, March 15. Sports anchor Nate Ryan will join the game coverage for select games this season. KENS 5 games will be available to viewers in the San Antonio market on both the Official Spurs Mobile App and the KENS 5 app.
CW35 will debut their regular season coverage when the Spurs host the Sacramento Kings on Friday, Nov. 17. The station will broadcast three additional Spurs home games throughout the rest of the season, against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday, Dec. 15, the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, Jan. 24 and the Indiana Pacers on Sunday, March 3. CW35 can be found “over-the-air” on Channel 4.2. All Spurs games on CW35 will be available for viewers in the San Antonio market to watch on the Official Spurs Mobile App.
All Spurs games can be heard on WOAI 1200-AM with Bill Schoening. Spanish language radio broadcasts of each game with Paul Castro will be carried by KXTN AM-1350. Spanish television broadcast details will be released at a later date.
