It lasted just one half of basketball, but New Orleans’ starting five capitalized on a long-awaited opportunity to play in an NBA game together Tuesday, something that hadn’t happened since November of last season. The results was quite promising. The quintet of CJ McCollum, Herb Jones, Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson and Jonas Valanciunas delivered major production for the Pelicans, with four of the five starters contributing double-digit scoring – and Valanciunas amassed 11 rebounds to go with his seven points. The second string and deep reserves played the entire second half for New Orleans, as Orlando built a double-digit lead and prevailed.

Though Seabron might not find a rotation spot with the Pelicans early, the 6’7 point arguably has the most offensive upside of the Pelicans’ slew of young guards.
