As the exhibition showcase draws to a close, the American squad is set to confront Germany.
Germany, positioned as the fifth-ranked team in FIBA’s World Cup Power Rankings, boasts a considerable line-up of NBA talent.
Spearheaded by Dennis Schroder from the Toronto Raptors, and further bolstered by the Orlando Magic‘s tandem of Franz and Moe Wagner, along with Indiana Pacers’ Daniel Theis, the German national team presents a formidable challenge for Team USA.
This comes on the heels of Team USA‘s successes in the initial exhibition games, where they emerged victorious with double-digit leads in each instance.
The friendly clash between Team USA and Germany is scheduled for Sunday, August 19.
Team USA‘s upcoming friendly will take place in Abu Dhabi, where they also faced Greece a couple of days ago.
Anthony Edwards put up 21 points on the scoreboard, accompanied by Cam Johnson contributing 13 points, as the United States maintained a lead throughout the entire game on Friday.
They secured a convincing 108-86 victory against Greece, showcasing their preparation for the World Cup in this tune-up match.
Notably, all 12 players on the US roster made their mark on the scoreboard, with Mikal Bridges and Bobby Portis also achieving double-digit scores, both finishing with 10 points each.
