On Christmas Day, it was the NBA’s two best teams facing off against each other, and a pair of former Mountaineers facing off against each other.
Joe Mazzulla is the head coach of the Boston Celtics who faced Jevon Carter and the Milwaukee Bucks in a Christmas Day matchup.
In the game, Carter saw the court for 13 minutes, registering seven points, three assists, one rebound and a steal.
Mazzulla and the Celtics got the best of Carter’s Bucks, as the Celtics won 139-118 at home. The Celtics are now 24-10, as Mazzulla has Boston with the best record in the NBA. The Bucks have the second-best record in the NBA, as they are 22-11. The Celtics and the Bucks have the first and second-best winning percentage in the NBA so far this season.
These two teams will face off twice more this regular season, on Feb. 14 and Mar. 23, with both games being played in Milwaukee.
