The 2023 WNBA Finals continued on Wednesday night with the Las Vegas Aces’ destruction of the New York Liberty in Game 2. Putting on an offensive masterclass, the Aces led by as much as 32 en route to a 104-76 victory over their rivals, in yet another blowout involving the two teams.
A’ja Wilson went off for 26 points and 15 rebounds to become the third player in WNBA Finals history with 25 points and 15 rebounds in a game, while Jackie Young and Kelsey Plum combined for 47 points and Chelsea Gray dished out 11 assists. The Liberty, meanwhile, continued their ice-cold shooting, going 8-of-35 from downtown.
The Aces are now one win away from becoming the first team since the 2001-02 Los Angeles Sparks to repeat as champions.
