Villanova announces 2023-24 Big East men’s college basketball schedule – VU Hoops

The puzzle is complete!
It’s the best Friday news drop in quite some time! After Jon Rothstein had been releasing a couple nuggets earlier in the week, in conjunction with the Big East, Villanova has made the 2023-24 conference play slate public on Friday.
The Wildcats will open Big East play on the road, starting with Creighton on Dec. 20, followed by DePaul on Dec. 23.
They’ll head back to Pennsylvania for their first Big East game at home, when they host Xavier on Jan. 3 at Finneran Pavilion.
Villanova will have a total of six Wells Fargo Center games, a lineup that includes four conference play matchups. The ‘Cats will take on UConn on Jan. 20, and they’ll have three other Wells Fargo Center games after that against Providence (Feb. 4), Seton Hall (Feb. 11) and Creighton (Mar. 9). In non-conference play, they’ll host UCLA on Dec. 9, but also take part in the brand new Philadelphia Big Five Classic on Dec. 2.
Game times and TV network info will be announced at a later date.
