The University of Wisconsin men’s basketball game against Iowa at the Kohl Center on Wednesday is still on as scheduled despite a winter storm in the forecast.
The Badgers and Hawkeyes are scheduled to play at 8 p.m. The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning from 9 a.m. Wednesday through noon Thursday, calling for heavy mixed precipitation.

Dane County Emergency Management said in a tweet that travel will be poor and advised not to go out “if you don’t have to.”
A UW spokesperson said the game is still set to be played.
Badgers coach Greg Gard asked at his news conference Monday that fans who can’t use tickets get them to others “so we can have a loud and raucous environment.”
